October Community Update

Dear Neighbors,

With so much happening at home and abroad, I wanted to provide some community updates and fill you in on what my team and I have been working on to better serve you.

ASSISTANCE ABROAD:

As conflict continues in Israel and Gaza, my office has been working to safely get constituents home to Los Angeles. We are in close contact with the State Department and are here as a resource. If you or a loved one in the region need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out. Please fill out the State Department's crisis intake form at https://cacms.state.gov/s/crisis-intake, and contact my office at gomez.house.gov or 213-481-1425.

IN THE COMMUNITY:

Earlier this month, we hosted another successful CA-34 passport fair, assisting over 170 constituents with their passport applications and renewals. If you don’t know where to start, my office is always here to help guide you through the process with federal agencies—from passport applications to Medicare, Social Security and more.

Join me on Wednesday (10/25) for a town hall on Instagram Live featuring my colleague and friend, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, on Wednesday, October 25 at 6:30 pm PT.
