🚫 Voted NO on the Republicans' Billionaire Handout

The Republican budget slashes Medicaid (MediCal) for over 400,000 people in our district, slashes food assistance (CalFresh), and threatens rental support—all to bankroll tax cuts for the ultra-rich. I voted NO and will keep fighting to stop these cuts.

⚖️ Called Out Republican Attacks on Working Families

I fact-checked Republicans trying to justify their tax breaks for billionaires using Warren Buffett’s letter—when it actually underscores the need to protect working families.

🌎 Reintroduced the Dream Act

Immigrants are the backbone of our communities—our neighbors, teachers, and small business owners. They work hard, pay taxes, and strengthen our economy. That’s why I reintroduced the Dream and Promise Act to provide a real path to citizenship for Dreamers and TPS holders.

🍼 Led Dads Caucus in Fight for Fair Taxes

I founded the Dads Caucus and this week, we met with parents and business owners doing the best they can to keep up with rising prices, and the message was clear: make rent, groceries, and owning a small business less expensive. America should work for everyone, not just billionaires.
