💯 Trump: How to Destroy an Economy in 100 Days

Trump’s blaming everyone else for the economic meltdown—but he’s the one responsible. His tariffs are jacking up prices on strollers, diapers, and groceries—parents are getting crushed. At the Port of LA, cargo shipments are down 35%. That means empty grocery store shelves, higher prices, and looming job cuts. Before Trump, the economy was growing. Now it’s shrinking—and he’s got no one to blame but himself.

🤳 Held a Virtual Roundtable with Content Creators

Our district is home to many content creators who power a $250 billion sector of the economy. They are creatives and employers—and they deserve the same support as any small business. In our 2nd virtual roundtable, I met with talented creators from LA and across the country. And this week, I pushed the SBA to offer the tax, legal, and IP resources they need to thrive in today’s economy.

🧾 Urged the courts to reject Trump’s weaponization of the IRS to target immigrants

As the son of immigrants, I know the studies are right when they say that immigrants pay taxes and help power our economy, but now the Trump admin wants to hand over their private IRS records to ICE and target them. I filed a legal document with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to stop this unprecedented, dangerous breach of trust and defend everyone’s right to privacy.
