❌ Voting NO on the Republican Funding Cuts 

I voted against Republican’ partisan spending bill because it cuts funding for veterans and families while giving Donald Trump unchecked power to impose dumb tariffs that are bad for our economy. I led the Dads Caucus in pushing Republicans to prioritize working families over billionaires and stop their spending bill. And I talked to The Bulwark’s Tim Miller about why the Senate should man up against Republican legislative terrorists on the spending bill!  

👶 Child Care Roundtable with UNITE-LA 

I spoke with UNITE-LA about what Republicans should be focused on instead of giving new tax breaks to billionaires, which is investing in child care and early education to lower costs for families. As a dad and founder of the Dads Caucus, providing working parents the support they need to care for their children without breaking the bank is one of my top priorities.  

💼 Ways and Means Hearing: Protecting Your Information from DOGE 

At a Ways & Means Committee hearing, I voted for a resolution demanding transparency over Elon Musk’s attempts to access taxpayer data. Republicans blocked it to no one’s surprise, but I’ll keep fighting to protect your Social Security and bank information—even if Republicans won’t.
