🏥 Fought Back Against Cuts to Health & Human Services

Trump and RFK Jr. just shut down HALF of all HHS regional offices—including the one that serves ALL of California. That’s a direct hit on health care access for 166 million Americans, including our neighbors. I joined my fellow Democrats on Ways and Means this week to demand answers and fight to restore the services our communities count on.

🏦 The IRS Should Not Be Used to Target Immigrants

Trump’s team signed a deal to let the IRS and immigration agents share private tax info to go after immigrants—even though immigrants pay hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes every year. This policy is wrong. It hurts families and is a violation of privacy. I worked with Rep. Linda Sánchez and 46 of our colleagues to demand the full release of this plan. We won’t let them weaponize the tax system against our neighbors.
