Health insurance is an important investment that can protect you and your family from the astronomical costs that often accompany a serious accident or illness. 

If you don’t have health insurance, you can use Covered California, our state’s official health benefits exchange, to find a subsidized health insurance plan from now until January 31, 2018.

Covered California allows you to browse and compare the plan that is right for you and your family. You can also find out if you’re eligible for financial assistance to make coverage more affordable. During last year’s enrollment period, 8 in 10 people qualified for financial help, which helped them find insurance plans with premiums between $50 to $100 per month. 

If you already had health coverage through Covered California or HealthCare.gov in 2017, you should update your information and compare your options for 2018. Plans and prices change every year, meaning that you could save even more money by switching to a newer, more affordable plan. For details about available plans and to get more information, you can visit Covered California's website or call 1-800-300-1506. 

If you’d like to get help in person, you can visit your nearest enrollment center using the Storefront Finder Tool. Covered California also regularly hosts enrollment and educational events. Find one happening near you.
