I raised the alarm about Elon Musk and his DOGE team working to access to your personal financial information when they have no business near your Social Security and bank account numbers.

After the devastating LA fires, everyday heroes stepped up. I honored Lincoln Heights teacher Veronica Bane, who led Smidt Tech High School students in collecting 14,000+ books for kids, parents and teachers who lost everything. They’re rebuilding lives—one book at a time.
🏥 Rallied against Medicaid cuts with health care leaders

I rallied health care providers to fight Trump’s attempts to strip health care access from 425,000 Angelenos in my district, including working families, children, and people with disabilities.
💪 Hosted Renters' Rights Workshop in Boyle Heights with community partners
This week, I hosted a renters' rights workshop with community partners in Boyle Heights to help working families protect themselves from predatory landlords, especially after the LA fires.
👋 Congress on your doorstep: Delivering KYR Resources
Team Gomez and I joined our neighbors at Estrada Courts for a resource fair for teens and seniors. We went door to door handing out "Know Your Rights" literature and making sure they know all about the constituent services our office can help with!
