On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the world gathers to commemorate the six million Jews and millions of other religious and ethnic minorities murdered during one of the darkest periods in human history.

In honor of the victims and survivors of this barbaric mass crime, we must resolve to combat hatred and bigotry in all its forms. By choosing love over hate and unity over division, we illustrate that the true essence of humanity is not our capacity for creating evil but our ability to display courage and resilience in face of true darkness.
