Capitol Tours

We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work together to resume public tours of the Capitol for the American people in a way that protects the health and safety of visitors and institutional staff alike.

The public may reserve tours directly through the capitol Visitor Center website below.

Reservations are required for all staff-led tours, and are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 2:50 PM.

Due to limited availability we ask that you provide multiple dates you are able to tour.

White House Tours

Public White House tours are generally available from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Mondays through Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. All White House tours are free of charge and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, with the tour schedule subject to change based on inclement weather or official use. Tour requests must be submitted a minimum of 21 days in advance and no more than 90 days in advance of the requested tour date(s). Reservations cannot be accepted for tour dates outside this 21 – 90-day window. Due to the fluidity of the White House schedule, tours cannot be confirmed more than two to three weeks in advance of the requested date(s) and are subject to cancellation at any time.
