Although DeJoy pointed to the coronavirus pandemic as part of the problem with deliveries, he was unable to answer why problems from his changes were not resolved quickly, as he predicted.
"Why have days turned into weeks?" asked Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.).
“I’m trying to figure that out,” DeJoy said.
