Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) plans to offer a motion to expel Greene, although whether it ever comes up for a vote is still unclear. “Her very presence in office represents a direct threat against elected officials and staff who serve our country, and it is with their safety in mind, as well as the security of our institutions and public servants across our country, that I call on my House colleagues to support my resolution and immediately remove Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from this legislative body,” Gomez said in a statement.
