LOS ANGELES – Today, Congressman Jimmy Gomez (CA-34) unveiled a new and innovative initiative to safely engage constituents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 Virtual Community Listening Tour will provide Angelenos with unique opportunities to directly voice their concerns and discuss the pressing issues facing California’s 34th Congressional District.

“This unprecedented public health crisis has transformed so many aspects of our daily lives, including how elected officials connect with their constituents,” said Congressman Gomez. “But despite the COVID-19 pandemic, my office remains committed to expanding our accessibility and providing Angelenos with numerous opportunities to learn about the issues I’m working on in Congress and ensure they reflect our community's needs. Through our new Virtual Community Listening Tour initiative, my office can provide constituents across California’s 34th Congressional District with a new, digital platform for assistance in navigating federal agencies and securing the state and federal benefits they need to make it through this national public health emergency.”
