Congressman Jimmy Gomez Named Assistant Whip for the 117th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn (SC-06) announced that Congressman Jimmy Gomez (CA-34) has been named Assistant Whip of the Democratic Caucus for the 117th Congress. Congressman Gomez also served as Assistant Whip in the 116th legislative session. “I’m deeply honored to once again serve on Whip Clyburn's team as I begin my second full term representing California's 34th Congressional District," said Congressman Gomez.
