Forbes: Marjorie Taylor Greene Praises Tweet Calling Kevin McCarthy A ‘Moron’

Shortly after McCarthy’s condemnation, video resurfaced of Greene saying in 2020 – when she was still a congressional candidate – that she would oppose taking down statues of Hitler and Satan so she could “teach others about who these people are, what they did.”
Greene is unlikely to be punished for her recent comments, with even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dodging a question about whether she should be censured or expelled. Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) is leading an effort to expel her, but it would require two-thirds support even if it makes it to the floor. Full Article |
