Los Angeles, CA – In response to the release of the redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, Congressman Jimmy Gomez (CA-34) released the following statement:

“There are numerous findings for the American people to take away from the release of the Mueller report, but it was the President’s blatant disregard for the law and his administration’s sheer contempt for the truth that caught my eye. As my team and I continue to analyze the Special Counsel’s findings, I urge my constituents – and the public at large – to read the report for themselves and reach their own conclusions. In the meantime, my colleagues and I in Congress will continue to live up to our constitutional obligation to investigate allegations of misconduct and serve as a much-needed check on the Executive Branch and its actions.”
