The Hill: Census director says he learned of Trump citizenship move 'when it was posted on the web'

Census Bureau Director Steven Dillingham told the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday he only became aware of a recent presidential directive excluding undocumented immigrants from the census's congressional representation calculations “when it was posted on the web.”Dillingham reportedly said he wasn't involved in the planning of President Trump's executive order last week blocking undocumented immigrants from being counted in the 2020 census for the purpose of allocating House seats.
