I was sickened to hear about this vicious crime, which left a defenseless grandmother bleeding profusely on the sidewalk.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Jimmy Gomez issued the following statement after a brutal mugging in Koreatown left 86-year-old Mi Rehm Song with deep lacerations and severe bruising. “I was sickened to hear about this vicious crime, which left a defenseless grandmother bleeding profusely on the sidewalk. The attack on Mi Rehm Song was an attack on our community, and I commend law enforcement for swiftly finding the suspect that conducted this heinous crime. By coming together as neighbors and looking out for one another, we can help ensure justice is served.” ### |
