Congressman Jimmy Gomez to Host Korean American Community Roundtable on Friday

Los Angeles, CA - Congressman Jimmy Gomez (CA-34) will host a Korean American community roundtable Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00am PST at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce upon returning from a congressional delegation to the Republic of Korea following the historic Moon-Kim summit. The seven-day trip included meetings with high-ranking South Korean officials and focused on critical issues underpinning U.S.-South Korean relations, including security, trade, and cultural relations.

“Now more than ever, it’s vital that we work to strengthen our economic, security, and cultural ties with our closest allies across the globe – especially South Korea,” said Congressman Jimmy Gomez. “I truly believe we can all agree that peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula is good for California, for Asia, and for the world.”
