Los Angeles, CA - Last night, in Chicago, Illinois, the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the defending champion Chicago Cubs 11-1 and clinched their first trip to the World Series in 29 years. Congressman Jimmy Gomez (D – Los Angeles) released the following statement on the Dodgers’ crushing victory:
