A new short film by the congressman makes the case for his latest bill

U.S. Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) unveiled a new short film promoting his latest bill, which seeks to redirect $175 billion in Immigration and Customs Enforcement funding toward housing initiatives.

Housing Over Hate, produced in collaboration with the documentary group Brave New Films, features interviews with five members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, including Gomez, who have endorsed the legislation: Reps. Maxwell Frost (D-FL), Maxine Dexter (D-OR), Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) and Troy Carter (D-LA).
