Rep. Gomez Hosts Fifth Passport Fair of the Year, Bringing Services Directly to Angelenos

LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, Congressman Jimmy Gomez (CA-34) hosted his fifth community Passport Fair in California’s 34th Congressional District this year, bringing federal passport services directly to Eagle Rock and continuing his effort to make essential government services more accessible to families across Los Angeles.

“Accessing basic government services shouldn’t mean taking a day off work or traveling across Los Angeles,” said Rep. Gomez. “That’s why we’re bringing passport services directly into neighborhoods like Eagle Rock. Whether you’re applying for your child’s first passport, renewing an expired passport, or preparing for an upcoming trip, my office is here to make the process easier and more accessible.”

The Eagle Rock passport fair provided residents with on-site assistance from trained passport agents, including help with new passport applications and renewals, document review, passport photos, and information about processing times and expedited service.

Gomez has made passport fairs a regular part of his office’s constituent services, hosting five events across the district to help Angelenos navigate the passport process closer to home. His office also regularly assists constituents with Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, immigration cases, federal tax issues, and other federal agencies.

Constituents who were unable to attend the fair can contact Congressman Gomez’s district office for assistance with passport and other federal agency matters.
