🚩 Trump says tariffs would bring “short-term pain.” But how long is “short-term”? A month? A year? Still waiting… Since that hearing, Trump’s tariffs have cost working families more in higher prices. No plan. No timeline. No answers. They don’t know how long it’ll last— And they don’t care because they’re not like us. They’re billionaires.

I was honored to work with Sylvia Mendez to pass legislation naming the LA Federal Courthouse after her parents—so their fight is forever part of U.S. history.

Trump still has tariffs in effect that will affect LA’s small businesses, restaurants, and shops. As costs of importing goods increases, prices will go up on everything from produce to baby onesies. Enough is enough.
