WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Jimmy Gomez (CA-34), a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and Co-Chair of the Ways and Means Committee’s Racial Equity Initiative (REI), released the following statement after a meeting at the Oval Office with President Biden to discuss next steps for the Build Back Better Agenda:
